Baby Flavia
This in-home newborn shoot in Boston's South End in a beautiful bright, airy space with an abundance of natural light pouring in from large, clean windows. The peaceful soft glow of a cold December morning perfectly set the scene for Baby Flavia's session. The backdrop would feature crisp whites — light-colored walls, a soft white crib, and minimalist furniture, allowing the newborn to be the focal point. Simple yet elegant props such as a cozy blanket or knitted basket were used to enhance the feel, all while keeping the focus on the baby’s tiny features and the tenderness of the moment.
The South End’s classic brownstone architecture, with its exposed brick or stylish hardwood floors, also was visible on the street creating a timeless, sophisticated touch. The mood was relaxed, intimate, and natural, with the Flavia's softly texture outfits complimented the quiet, bright energy of the space. She had also just turned 8 weeks, which is on the older end of babies I usually capture for newborn sessions. I contain lots of details about pro's and con's to every age in my Newborn Guide provided to all prospective clients!
During the session we captured the delicate expressions, little hands and feet, and any small, tender moments shared between the newborn and parents. This resulted in a gallery of serene, elegant photos with a refined, fresh aesthetic, capturing the purity of early life in a modern, beautiful home.
