Bubbles, Splashes & Smiles: An In-Home Milestone Session with Baby Boy


There is something so special about documenting your baby's first year in the place where so many memories are being made.


This sweet 10-month milestone session took place right at home and perfectly captured everything I love about lifestyle photography: genuine connection, big smiles, and the beautiful everyday moments that often become the memories we treasure most.


Instead of traditional milestone portraits, Mom chose to include part of their real routine—a sink bath. What followed was pure magic.

The kitchen quickly filled with bubbles, laughter, and plenty of splashing. Little hands explored the water while Mom stayed close, sharing smiles, cuddles, and those tiny moments of interaction that say so much about their relationship.


There was no pressure to sit still or look at the camera. Instead, we focused on documenting what this season of life truly feels like.


At 10 months old, babies are full of personality. They're curious, expressive, and constantly discovering the world around them. Incorporating an activity they already love helped create authentic moments that felt joyful and natural from start to finish.

One of the things I love most about in-home milestone sessions is how unique they become to each family. Whether it's reading books in the nursery, baking cookies in the kitchen, cuddling on the couch, or splashing in a sink bath, these everyday experiences become part of your family's story.

They'll remind you of the way she giggled when the bubbles touched her nose, how tiny her hands looked gripping the edge of the sink, and the way she looked at her mom during one of her favorite parts of the day.
