Motherhood is a journey full of twists, turns, and surprises. But when you’re blessed with two young girls, that journey becomes a whirlwind of giggles, glitter, and occasional moments of pure chaos. It’s a rollercoaster ride where every day feels like a new adventure, and yet, there’s nothing quite like the joy of watching your little ones grow together.
My oldest two girls are 16 months apart. I was barely getting my footing as a new mom when I found out another was on the way. My husband and I hoped so badly that we would have a boy, and we could maybe be "done" after this baby. The universe laughed at that thought. We would soon have two young baby girls in our house, and watching the two of them grow up together fills me with a healthy emotional mix of joy, pride, and anticipation. We have since added a boy into the mix, but my girls have made me a girl mom. I'll always be grateful for my time I've had with them when they were little.
